Their organization consists of employees with different skills, roles & responsibilities. They conduct numerous employee training programs and development workshops. The client were tracking the process manually. As manual efforts caused human errors and delays in process Client required an employee development management system.
They require a platform to track employee performance, development and monitor the process of goals accomplished. They aim to achieve timely completion of organizations as well as employees’ objectives with a scalable employee development management system. The client desires transparency, consistency, and automation with the system.
Solution and Approach
Our team after studying the objectives built a solution for the client’s requirements of Employee Development Management System on top of Salesforce Enterprise Edition.
The implemented solution allows employees and peers to set their goals based on specified categories. After defining the goals, the employee creates tasks and asks for feedback on the completion of those tasks. This is possible using Salesforce standard and custom objects.
Employees and managers conduct reviews on monthly intervals to monitor the progress against each goal and task. They can make meeting notes for each review.
With the same solution, employees can engage and collaborate with other employees. This is possible using Salesforce functionalities – Chatter, Groups, and Topics. Employees can upload posts, share knowledge articles, participate in multiple groups, can chat with peers around different topics, and share ideas. This in turn also built an information and knowledge repository of work and experiences captured over time.
Using Salesforce provided Reports and Dynamic Dashboards, employees and managers can view timely progress statistics, manage their deadlines, and receives notifications.
Overall, with the solution Client conducts efficient, real-time, consistent, and automated employee development and performance management processes.
